About Us

Cesar Serna grew up in Manizales, Colombia, surrounded by his family’s coffee farms. From a young age, he developed a deep passion for agriculture. Occasionally, when he was not fully engaged in high school, his father would send him to work as a farmhand to impart a lesson. However, the lesson Cesar truly learned was his love for being close to the earth and nurturing growth.

Having lived in the United States for over 40 years, Cesar built a lovely family with his wife and two daughters. He completed his business degree and became a U.S. citizen, and in 2004 he fulfilled his dream of entrepreneurship. Cesar started his landscaping business with just a refurbished lawnmower in the back of the family station wagon. By 2008, Cesar earned a certification from the Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA), making him one of the few certified organic landscapers in the region.

Cesar and his family enjoy traveling, but they cherish returning home to their pets: Mabel and Mojito, their dogs, and Cheech, their cat. All their furry friends benefit from an organic yard, allowing the family to relax without worrying about what might be brought in on all the family feet and paws.
